Antari AirGuard AG20

Description

The Antari AirGuard AG20 is a battery powered (battery included) light weight, portable, convenient, and highly functional Disinfection Fog Machine. The AG20 converts the FLD05 disinfectant fluid (sold separately) into a fog or vapour to fill an entire space in any direction with incredible ease. Once the disinfectant fog settles (around 5 – 10 minutes) it leaves a thin layer on the surface of objects in the room to inhibit bacteria growth and kill most fungi, germs, virus, dust mites and it can also get rid of bad odours.

The AirGuard AG20 is suitable for all kinds and types of small to medium applications particularly where a high level of portability is required with limited access to a power point. (If you require a machine for larger spaces look at the AG1500 or AG3000 with a higher output suitable for larger areas, such as school halls, large offices, theatres, department stores, plazas, airports, gymnasiums and libraries just to name a few).

Without the need of a direct AC power source the Airguard AG20 is powered by a rechargeable battery (included). And with no warming-up time required, it can produce disinfectant vapour or fog instantly! Sanitize Anywhere, Anytime.

With nine built-in timer duration settings (15, 30, 60, 90,120, 150, 180, 210 and 240 seconds) users are able to set it based on the size of the target area. It can also be set to continuous duration.

The included Wireless Remote Control conveniently allows the user to activate and deactivate the AG20 from a distance of up to 50m.

The AirGuard AG20 can produce one cubic metre of smoke in 2.14 seconds. To work out how long you need to operate AirGuard for, first find out the volume of the room, then multiply by 2.14 to get the time required in seconds. For example, if the room is 12 square metres with a 2.6m ceiling (for a volume of 31.2 cubic meters), it will take the AG20 approximately 67 seconds to fill the room.

After the AirGuard AG20 has sprayed the FLD05 disinfectant fog, allow 5 to 10 minutes for the fog to circulate and cover the space in order to disinfect.

When disinfecting a car, turn the air conditioner to recycle and use for 30 seconds at a time.

Periodically sanitizing an area or room with the Antari AirGuard AG20 Disinfection Fog Machine and FLD05 Disinfection Fluid to kill germs and viruses provides an additional layer of protection to complete a holistic approach to hygiene and sanitisation.

What is the active ingredient in FLD for sterilisation?

Umbelliferol, which is an effective antibacterial agent approved by the Taiwan Ministry of Health and Welfare. It has good sterilisation ability and can kill a variety of bacteria, yeast, fungi and viruses. It can also inhibit oxidation.

Is the disinfection ingredient harmful to humans?

Umbelliferol is safe, the ratio of disinfection ingredients used is within the guidelines set by the Taiwan Ministry of Health and Welfare.

How does the FLD05 Disinfectant work?

The FLD05 disinfectant works by denaturing the virus’ proteins, which makes it incapable of binding to human cells. It is effective against the influenza virus and general pneumonia.

It has not been tested against the COVID-19 virus, as it is regulated by the government and no samples are available to test.

What is the fragrance of FLD05?

FLD05 has a menthol and fruity fragrance.

How long can FLD05 be stored?

FLD05 has a shelf life of 5 years and should be stored in a cool area out of direct sunlight. Once opened, it should be used within 6 months.

How long does the effect last?

This depends on the environmental conditions, such as ventilation and number of human movements. For example, disinfection in a car for personal use can be effective for 2 weeks, however a car used frequently for business should be disinfected each day. In general the more occupied a location or area is, the more frequently it should be disinfected.

Note: The Antari AirGuard AG20 Disinfection Fog Machine itself has no sterilisation function. The FLD05 liquid provides the sterilisation function. The sterilisation provided by smoke machines is completely different from ozone machines or air cleaners.
