The FBT J5AW Active Monitor is a two-way 5″ 80W+40W RMS professional speaker with built in class D amplifier (White)
If you are after a higher power specifications of 200 + 50W, the (J8A) may be what you are looking for.
FBT J5AW uses 80W RMS for the low frequency driver and 40W RMS for the 1″ high frequency driver coupled to a 90°H x 90°V horn.
It has a frequency response of 80 Hz to 20 kHz and is designed with an on-board analog signal processor and limiter to protect the monitor from overloads during performance.
The active internal crossover is at a fixed frequency of 3.5kHz. With a frequency range of 80Hz – 20kHz the FBT J5AW speaker provide high fidelity sound for both speech and music applications with a maximum SPL of 117dB.
The speakers feature lightweight, yet rugged gas injected molded polypropylene cabinet construction. They are available in black (FBTJ5A) or white finish. The speakers modern cabinet appearance provides fixed installations with an elegant design that blends into any decor.
The 2-way bass-reflex speaker is built with two M6 suspension points. The two M6 fly points along with the optional mounting brackets allow the speaker to be surface mounted on walls or ceilings. A standard 1,38″ speaker stand socket allows it to be mounted on speaker stand with AJ5 stand adaptor. The asymmetrical shape of the FBT J5AW cabinet also allows use as a powered floor stage monitor.
The control panel features a level control, HP filter switch, mic/line selector, led power on, protection led indicator, a balanced Neutrik input combo-jack, balanced XLR link out.
It can be used in various environments for applications such as a personal monitor, schools, small theater, clubs, gyms, bars, auditoriums, conference rooms and more.
