Redback A1982B megaphone operates in the same way as a standard loudhailer, and is also fitted with an alert/evac tone generator which allows the broadcast of alert and evacuation tones. The operation mode (alert/evac/megaphone) is selected via a toggle switch and is activated by pressing the trigger. The tone remains activated until the trigger is released. The powerful 25W amplifier and efficient voice coil unit give the Redback A1982B megaphone a range of up to 100m in good conditions.
To recharge batteries (NiMH batteries only) simply plug in the included AC plugpack. It requires 15 hours to fully charge. Rechargeable batteries sold separately. Requires 8 ‘C’ size batteries or 8 x rechargeable.
Suitable for school events, conventions, demonstrations etc. Includes electronic siren for gaining instant attention.
